Old Weston Parish Council Finances

The parish council raises money through a Precept which is collected with the council tax, last year it was set at £1000. We endeavour to keep this as low as possible to minimise the tax burden on parishioners.

Annually accounts are checked by an internal auditor and then sent for external audit. Accounts can be viewed by arrangements with the clerk and each year a notice is posted when new accounts have been signed off by the parish councillors inviting parishioners to view the accounts if they wish.
