I was about six years old when war broke out and I was moved to germany in 1939. My mom said it would be good for me and I did not know what was going on at the time. Also I was a jew so this made it even worse, but my mom said that Britain would not bomb Germany so I would escape the bombs. However when britain started to bomb Germany i was moved back to Britain. Then the war was over 5 months later. Happpy days
